Yeshiva Highlights

*Yeshiva highlights for the two weeks ending Jan. 17, 2019

The past two weeks in Yeshiva have flown by. We had new students join Yeshiva, which have brought a welcomed fresh air of warmth during the cold winter months in Yerushalayim. We had a Mishna Marathon this past week which many students took part in and undertook to learn mishnayos, altogether closing in on over 70 mishnayos learned within an hour and a half marathon!

We took a trip to "Tel Aviv 2048", an idea inspired by our very own Mordy Sendler, which is an interactive, action-packed competition against different teams of Rabbis and students. Everyone benefitted from the team-building and really enjoyed the game. This week for the trip took a bowling-day in Talpiot, and everyone had a great time! (pictures can be seen below for both activities).

We also had an amazing Rosh Chodesh Shevat Shacharis with the community in our Beis Midrash. We had a musical Hallel with amazing singing and dancing, and a delicious bagels, lox, and scrambled eggs breakfast to cap it off. It was great kick off to a beautiful day of learning & davening. We are looking forward to our annual Tu B'Shvat party as well!

This upcoming week, both Rabbi Tendler and Rabbi Charlop will be going to America for three exciting fundraisers for the Yeshiva. If you will be in the area we would love to see you!
